Let my 16 year old drive the Mav the other day. His first time driving a car without disc brakes and / or ABS. He made a very quick lane change, locked the rear wheels and 'bout S**t his pants. So I better swap to Discs, but been unlucky finding any. Thought I found some, bought them and they turned out to be Lincoln or sumthin and wont work.

When I did my Ranchero I had to change a lot cause the Falcon 6 stuff was so spindly. What has to be changed on a Mav? I already have 5 lug V8 brakes.

Anyone got a set of Mav or Granada spindles/brakes for sale?

It was funny to see his face when it locked up. He had never experianced that before. He has a different respect for my diving now since he had never seen me do that.

I was going to pick a part, but found that there are some "RE-SELLERS" that are paying guys a bounty for these set ups so these guys will hit the yards daily in the morning and pull the set ups and get paid to hold them for him.

I think Mavaholic has a full setup for front disc.

The last post I made on the disc brake swap was covered almost everything. Try doing a search and see if it comes up (it's simply too much to keep re-typing each time these questions are asked). It details what has to be changed. Of course many others have posted similar information on the subject here as well...
