early small bumpers

    I was at a salvage yard the other day and found a 72 Maverick
    that had the front and rear bumpers still on it. They both were
    bent some, not real bad, no sharp creases. Do you think they
    are worth getting? They also had a 73, I'll have to check it over
    closer on the next trip out.

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    If they are cheap enough,they would be worth it just for the brackets/filler panel(between the bumper and grill)as well as the front/rear valences if they arent mangled beyong repair.You would need that stuff for a small bumper swap anyways.

    Definitely get them. Cores are hard to come by.
