My wife recently purchased a 1977 Ford Maverick. I need to replace the heater hoses. The Maverick has A/C mounts, and all the signs of previously having air conditioning. I have owned a 72 and 74 Maverick in the past and really enjoyed them. I was looking over postings by 71gold and found the list of steps to disassemble and reinstall the heater core. I have managed to mash the cardboard glove box insert. I will be looking for a glove box insert to replace the one I mangled. I have looked at a Ford Parts webpage and they only list back to 1979. I know I will be asking plenty of questions. I look forward to participating in this forum.
