Hi. I don't have a Maverick. Yet. I'm stuck with a '93 Nissan Z 'vert and a beat-up old Dodge. Oh well, could be worse. Could have neither.

But I have the vision in my head of a yellow '71 Maverick Grabber... with a 351 Cleveland and a TKO-600 under it. Course, I don't have the money for something like that... yet. :D

    So again, I say hi.

Imagine that. Clevelands 4-bbls are pretty powerful in stock for, and in a little old Maverick... wouldn't need much to do low 13s, I don't think.

Good thing is the cars themselves seem to be pretty cheap still. I'm surprised they're not as mainstream popular as the Mustang, Vette, GTO, and Mopars. I can't recall ever seeing one is any auto enthusiast magazine, even the Ford enthusiast ones.

It's the cleanest lake in So Cal that you're allowed to swim in.

My dad worked for the department managing the lake for about 3 years until he died, and it's cleaner than you'd think. Especially now that they have those big air pumps circulating the water...
