almost needed to change my britches after this one... Just got my mav like a week ago, flushed out the coolant system, changed the oil and plugs, ect..runs great...got the tag and insurance for it today, and took it for a test drive to run it through the paces, everything was fine.... till I got home that is. Noticed a rather signifigant fluid leak when i went back out to check her over. I thought it was coolant, being that i messed with it just a day ago, then i got that tell-tale wiff! The fuel line began to split where comes into the engine compartment from the fender wall (she is 31 yrs old...). There was gasoline all over the powerstreeing pump, linkage, fenderwalls, but most of all it was really close to the exahaste mainfolds!! I almost lost my lunch. So i went down to napa and got all the fuel line and coolant hose i need to replace all such rubber. Should have known better! My little Bro was with me the whole time too, i dread to think what could've happend......
Ahhh well - you live and learn:slap:

Well, actually,a hot exhaust manifold won`t ignite fuel............now if it was spraying onto the coil or distributor....well thats another story.
