seat track pics

    hiya fellers can someone post up some real good pics of bucket seat tracks like what would be used in a 71 comet/maverick 2dr

    I have pictures of the 71-72 high back bucket style seat tracks, in my project thread. (taller style)

    Not sure if this is the style your talking about.

    These are LDO-style tracks ....

    They are not as tall as the highback tracks. LDO seats were heavily padded and the bases were taller. I will be using them with highback seats because I am 6'1" and the combo works out to be a good height for me ... not so good for my 5'4" wife, but she can still see over the steering wheel. :p

    Notice that each track is unique. Passenger side at the top, drivers pair at the bottom of the pic. Mav tracks are a bit odd in that they really position the seat further forward than most other Ford seat tracks.

    I had Pinto seat tracks adapted to mine for a while, and had to drive with the seat on the second notch from full forward.
