Hello, need a little help, My engine looks like I'm driving with the valve covers off. It is blowing oil out the dip stick tube, around the PCV and the breather. This just started around 2 week ago. I have the PCV hook up to the PCV port on my 670 holley. I have been driving this combo for about 4 years. I have change the PCV with no change. I had my 69 heads done about 4 years ago. :thumbs2:

Do you have any vacuum present at the PCV port?

Any other symptoms? And as bkelley said, make sure you actually have vacuum on the PCV valve hose. Start there.

Might want to do a compression test. Too much blow by from worn out piston rings will cause excessive crankcase pressure and push it out anywhere it can go. Good luck and hope its something simple.

VAcuum at the valve? PCV Breather not plugged up? You need fresh air coming in.
IF the PCV system is OK your looking at blow by.

If it's puffing badly from PCV fresh air supply(usually in air cleaner), dipstick tube and oil fill all at same time, you have a serious blowby issue...
