I have a friend that is running this air cleaner on a 68 Dart with a 440 under a stock flat hood. He tried all of the big name drop bases and this one has more drop than the rest and gave him the clearance needed to keep the hood safe.

What inch diameter is that air cleaner? 14"? I need a 13" one to clear my MSD distributor.

K&N's "flow control" air cleaners are bad ass setups that have major dropped bases. I use the 16" setup whenever possible but there's probably just no way it would fit between the export braces on these cars.

Has anyone ever tried.. or seen one installed on these cars?

I know my friend is running it on a Quick fuel carb but that's the extent of my knowledge.

    I believe it's a 14".
