I'd say that is a fair price for both seller and buyer, could have been worth another grand if V8, five lug etc...

    Congrats...

Guys, just wanted to make you aware a bit that you are in a big luxury situation!!!

A rustfree 71 with nice paint, almost no dents and all original for this price is a huge luxury!!! Enjoy it that it is that way in the us!!

In mexico a rusted out, not running, missing half parts, totally dented and repaired very badly over 40 years mav costs double as you payed for this beauty!!
And parts are very expensive and mostly just ****!

I just can be jelaous!! As are the guys in brasil!
So please be aware of this!

And for sure congrats to this nice buy and alot of fun to make it the car you want it to be!

    Fairlane GT?

Hey, my first car was a 66 GT, 390, 4-SPEED, I wish I had never let it go, any chance you would want to part with it.......if it's a 390 4-speed?

The eldery lady that I bought my 71 Grabber from said the same thing lol.

"I had someone come by and offer $1500 cash right now and I told them you where interested so, if you can match it its yours." I responded "Give it to him for that price"

About 2-3 weeks later, I drove by and it was still there. Offered her $500 and she came back at $750 -- I figured it was fair and didnt want to steal the car from her. Also felt bad because her husband just died and she needed $ for bills.

Now its parked in my garage.

Wow, so you're asking almost as much for the bucket seats as you paid for the whole car! Love the logic :D.

That's probably a fair price for the car. Glad to see you didn't need to get in the $3k neighborhood to bring it home. Congrats!!!
