holley fuel pump question (blue pump)

    i have a pump that randomly quits. when i whack it with something it starts back up. I wired it directly to the battery so there is no short. I am wondering how to fix this. I am not wanting to buy a new pump, any ideas on what to look for?

    How old is the pump? maybe worn down brushes.

    Sometimes the magnets come loose, I pulled mine apart and used epoxy and that was 3 years ago.
