70 maverick 5 lug up grade

Thanks for the welcome. Looking to go to 5 lug. I have a 8 inch out of a 68 mustang and front spindles and disk set from 71 mustang. Will this work ?

A 68 Mustang rear will bolt in, but it is 2.5" wider then a Maverick 8"..... I am not sure about the 71 Mustang front brakes being a direct bolt in.....

The 71 spindles will work on your 70. My drum brake spindles are from a 71 Mustang.

Thanks for the info Planning on 15 " Craiger ss rims. I take it that I should be able to get the correct offset to make this mustang rear work. Being 2.5" wider.
