You can buy the lower spring support from many sources. In fact, one easy way to get it is to buy it from a Mustang parts supply company because the 65-73 Mustang/67-73Cougar and the Maverick part is the same.

Here are many places that have the part:

    www.p-s-t.com

    www.mustangsplus.com

    www.autokrafters.com

Scrapper60 is right, 71-73 Mustang parts are an exact swap. The only difference is I think some early 70 models(like mine) had the 4 bolt upper ball joints whereas the later Mavericks (late-70? or 71-up) had the 3 bolt upper ball joints. The 3 bolt ball joints are the same as the 71-73 Mustang and the 4bolt is exactly the same as a 68 Mustang. I really don't know what model year Mustang had the change over from the 4 bolt to 3 bolt. But it is safe to buy the 71-73 Mustang uppers for 3 bolt and 67-68 for 4 bolt uppers.

Can anyone else comfirm the year the Maverick was changed over to the 3 bolt from 4 bolt?

    Regarding the weatherstripping:

    www.autokrafters.com

They have a complete weatherstrip kit or you can get the pieces seperately. The only weatherstrip they don't make or sell are the quarter window weatherstrip pieces. But doors, windows, etc are available.

Just buy the whole upper arm, the shaft is probably worn out anyway and it comes with the ball joint installed. ;)

My 70 Maverick rad support along with my pops 73 Grabber rad support are both welded. The stamping is slightly different but both are deffinitely welded in.
