A bit off topic but what was the name of he crane inspection company, I ask as I was in that business for 15 years before I sold it and went other directions and it's a few and far between business.

WOW.....yes it's Konecranes/Crane Pro, Crane Pro is their service division side, why I said WOW is that is who I sold my business to when I left that line of work and now I have been in negotiations with them for about 3 mos. as they are trying to lure me into taking a Sales job with them.........they are huge, international company and that's one of my hold out's is the international travel that would be required, but they are getting near a $ figure that is making it hard to decline........btw if anyone on here has any industrial maintenance type experience, even electrical or mechanical AND you are not afraid of heights I would encourage you to look at http://www.konecranesusa.com/career it is a very well paying industry and as you will see they are always looking for people around the globe.

p.s. in fact most anyone on here who wrenches on their car would have the mechanical aptitude to apply for a apprentice type position.......I know this way off topic but I also know the economy and just throwing this out for anyone looking to better their situation.

LOL, now this is reminding me of when the new Corvette Stingray C7 launched last year and people would be taking video and pictures of my customers driving down the interstate......one customer in particular, a rather short on patience type came by one day and told me " blank blank blanking people I'm driving down the blank interstate and there is a car ahead of me and this blank beside me is taking video of my car and I'm pinned in" he proceeds to cuss a bit more then says "yeah my wife came home the other day all rosey and full of herself telling me how these young guys were taking her picture, I decided not to burst her bubble and tell her it was the car not her" lol. I mention this because Sam was always coming in saying Dad, why are people leaning out of their cars yelling and pointing at me? he actually was a bit uncomfortable at first and once I told him what they were doing he sat up just a bit taller in the seat, lol.

Pretty much every time I drive it I have someone ask about the comet, or honk, or give me a thumbs up, or tell me they had one in high school. Its a really cool thing. And I never get tired of it..

I drove mine again today and stopped at a restaurant. I watched a guy look the car over, then come in and ask if it was mine (the modified 'Mustangs and Fast Fords' hat must have given me away) before he sat across the room. Another guy in a purple more-door Tempest drove through the lot just to check it out. I'm diggin' it!

that reminds me one day i had went to autozone and when i came out there was a fellow in a Mustang, newer with the small modular motor, all excited he said "man I saw this and I had to go almost a 3rd of a mile to get turned around to come look at this"...after some chat he got around to telling me about all the go-fast stuff he had in his mod motor...as we were leaving all the employees and some customers were waiting to see what would happen........well I was first to pull out across traffic and he had to wait on a car then here he came, foot in it, I'm barely rolling but I let go with it.....it was an embarrassing moment for him, lol
