You will need spacers to run a 4.5" backspace.

i ended up using 4" back spaced wheels with 1/4" spacers which would end up with 3.75" total back space. i still needed to roll and push out the fender lips to clear 275/60-15s.

I run 27" tall drag radials on 15" X 8" wheels with 4 1/4" back spacing. No spacers and no rubbing.

What brand wheels do you have that have 4 1/4" back spacing? All I can seem to find in a 8" wheel is 3.5, 4.5 or 5.5

You are right, they are difficult to find. Go to the following link at Summit Racing:

My tires are M/T ET Street drag radials 255/60-15. I still have at least 3/4" of space between my tires and the leaf springs and no issues at all with the wheel hitting the unrolled fender lips. I run stock 3 leaf springs, shocks and shackles. Stock lift in the rear. The attached full view pictures my give you a better view of my rear tires.
