Does anyone know where i can get a new wiring harness? i think i nick'ed mine when i was removing the shock tower This is what happens when your frustrated and have a saws all in your hand.
Thanks Craig I was hoping to find a new one, don't know if anyone makes one. otherwise ill solder it back to gather
Craig won't sell you one unless it is a good one. Maybe it is easier replacing yours? I knicked mine too and luckily I have another car that I can pull one from. If I knicked it once I probably got it more.
Nobody makes a new factory wiring harness for a Maverick. Got to find used. If I have one, it will be cheap to a fellow club member.
There is a company that will make you a new one if you provide them a sample (send them your old/damaged harness). Currently they only have harnesses for the 71 and 72 models, so if anyone is parting out a car/cars, you may consider sending them the wiring before scrapping so the harnesses can be available for every year model. Please provide year and engine size should you send in wiring. http://narragansettreproductions.com/wiring-harness.html http://narragansettreproductions.com/ford-mercury-catalog.html
I got a ROn Francis easy access complete wiring harness installed on my car.Way better than the factory one and it comes with a modern fusebox that you can drop at all times to easily replace a blown fuse.
I couldnt find one. I Just asked Bryant if he can drop in and give you more info. Hes the one that installed the harness.
If I remember correctly they make them upon ordering its not like they have them in stock. After you order it it takes like 2 weeks for them to put it together.
