Hi Chad. You're saying that the car this thread is about... has all these issues?

Sounds like it. That really stinks if that is the case.

Are you talking about the same car in the pictures?

I have went to look at a few cars that were online and not one was in the same shape as represented in the pictures and/or description. Because of those experiences I will always see them in person before purchasing a car.

I was very lucky with my car. I drove it over 450 miles home without a hiccup.

Chadd, sorry to hear about this, the car seemed really nice from the pics in the listing. I wish you the best luck with whatever you choose to do with it.

I post this merely to help others....

What one person says is immaculate or rust free can be your worst nightmare. Never buy a car without either you or having someone you trust look it over first. Cars can look great in pictures, even with detailed high res shots, and not show the issues you'd see staring at it on a sunny day.

Good advice. I've run into many situations over the years where someone says a car his minimal rust, but when you see it, it is blistering all over or is rusted badly in structural areas underneath. This is not necessarily a case of someone trying to "pull one over", but reality, can be a reflection of someone's inexperience with corrosion and corrosion repairs.

Sorry you didn't get what you expected. Since your ad doesn't mention any of the things you are now disappointed about - I hope you find a buyer that actually comes to look at it so they are not surprised too.

"This car has no rust and is extremely clean and built meticulously.
You can drive this car anywhere. The heat works but didn't come with AC.
    No rust"

The above quote is from the sellers eBay advertisement for this car. I'm confident this seller also represented the car in the same fashion verbally. He's a snake!

when I see this much discription in an ad it raises a red flag to me. remindes me of a used car salesman...doing a whole lot of talk and not about the issues I want to hear about. I had one once that told me..."My Daughter bought one of these two weeks ago and hasn't had a problem with it."...:slap:
