I'm guessing you need at least the rear gauge cluster housing?

Just a guess, would that be the voltage regulator for the gauge cluster?

Would the entire gauge cluster include the part you are talking about? I have a black cluster set available if you are interested ....

I have a super nice cluster from a 75 Comet in green, and just the wiring membrain with voltage regulator from a 76 Mav. If you can't find what you are looking for from the other offers, email me.

I have had several instrument holders, the white part of the cluster, just disintegrate like brittle chaulk in my hands. Really a bad defect in materials in the later cars. Never had it happen with the earlier Mavericks and Comets's.

They are invincible until you try running dual processors with the cooling fans unplugged. Cooked it good ...

Yea, that is the dreaded disintegrating instrument cluster. Ford switched around 75 or 76 to either a different vendor or the old vendor that made these changed to a different formula for the plastic. It will crumble in your hands like the most brittle chalk you ever touched. Plastics are very unstable with age sometimes.

Good news is, all your gauges and the rear wiring membrane should be fine. You can look in a bone yard for one from an earlier car. All you need from it is that white gauge housing. I saw under your other posts, you were wondering about swapping in a 72 instrument cluster. They will fit, but the wiring is slightly different because of the additional idiot lights and the speedo is a 120mph on the 72.

I got the 72 cluster he is interested in ... the connections looked somewhat different so I'm not sure if it will work ....

My Mac is Back ... well .. actually a new one ... here are some pics of the 72 cluster I have ... a little dusty but in pretty nice shape ..
