I would agree with Dave and Eric......I think a exclusive ebay forum would be nice.

Who is Stephen ? ;) My initial response was that discusion about particular auctions should take place in the general forum and if you are selling something, it should be posted in the for sale section. However, after thinking about it, any discussion about an auction will be more or less useless if the link to the auction no longer works.
Here is an example from a year ago:
    http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=6175&highlight=ebay
Therefore, since the link no longer works, this thread should be deleted as there is no usefull information in it. So if I were to set up an Ebay(or autotrader) forum, all threads could be purged after an x amount of time as they would be only usefull for a limited amount of time. How does this sound as an idea?

I would probably like to see the discussions of a certain ebay auction left up longer. That way....when the auction "re-appears" a year later....we can go back and look to see how we all slammed it a year earlier. :D

Seriously....I find the discussions very helpful....and it helps provide a market value for our cars and parts......so I would be for leaving them up longer....if not forever. :D

Thats an awesome idea! Big Ebayer here, so a discussion group set aside just for that would be pretty helpful.
