Are castings D002 any good, I'm currently looking for some good 4 valve cast iron heads for my 302 build. Not even sure if this casting is a 4v. Let me know thanks

Huh??? No such thing as D002 head, likely is D0OZ, which is no doubt a std two barrel head... Other than '69-'70 Boss, only early 302 4 barrel head(not 4 valve, no such thing for any Windsor based engine) were in 1968, would be a C8-- casting...

    D0VE heads were for 429...

I think Car Crazy was thinking about the 68- 4 barrel mustang with the sticker on the air cleaner saying 302 4v . You would think Ford should have labeled them 4 bbl!

Ya d00z typical when people don't look hard enough at the head and I don't know all the casting numbers by heart to know they were wrong. And be 4v has always confused me and I don't know if ford ever had 4 valve heads factory or not

The 4v stands for "four venturi"
