today was a practice day for the local scca autocross. first run was ok. i exited one turn to fast to set up for the next properly and went off course. i didnt get any vid. im still trying to get this harrys lap timer app figured out. Second run, i got video. i have to manually start and stop it. its supposed to use preset gps to know when to start and stop. it was a good clean fun run. the course is a fun one lots of sweeping turns. im realizing i can push it faster. Third run was a good run also. fourth run was feeling weird towards the end and the car smelled of burnt clutch. fifth run, yep burnt cluch. i couldnt give it real throttle with out the motor flaring up. heres the videos second run third run. passenger drops the f-bomb at the end so be mindful of who hears it. fourth run. you can start to hear the cluch slip towards the end of the run. fith run. you can really hear the slipping clutch. If you are watching on a big enough screen you can see the cones flying in the pic in pic rear view. so the slipping clutch ended my day. I would have gotten 5 more runs if the clutch didnt start slipping. the good news is that i was able adjust the clutch and its good to go for tomorrow.
