Hey guys so I just converted my Mav to a 4 barrel edelbrock and the old place where the heater hose went back into the intake isn't there on my new thermometer housing, plus the hose was jury rigged by the last owner, and my heater core is leaking. So I just put a loop in the system for now but my line that goes back to the cooling system isn't hooked up anymore so it just stays backed up in the line. Will this be a problem? I don't have a place to put it back into the intake manifold. Will it cause damage if the heater hose is just shut off?

should be no problem as long as the water going into the heater core is shut off...
