Sport mirrors with wrong base

    I have a passenger side mirror but the base has been switched. Does anyone have an extra base, I really want to put these on but not like this. Thanks!

    Looks like a drivers mirror to me.

    The base is from a drivers side but it was supposed to be for the passenger side

    Don't know what you mean by switched, but I have a pair of mustang II sport mirrors on the sanding bench that have the same bases. I just looked at them, and from what I can tell, it appears to be a passenger side base on a drivers side mirror. Can't tell for sure. Is that what you mean?

    Looks to be a driver's side mirror - can you take another photo of it from a different angle?

    Why are all three pics back wards? The base looks like a mustang only -pointed Item. Point should be forwards. Cone on mirror should be forwards.

    Backwards because the base is for the opposite side mirror. The seat on the mirror is not symmetrical.

    The base and mirror head have a step where they meet, how did they get this miss matched in the first place?
