I wanted to share this with all who live in Georgia or may travel here to get your car painted.
2yrs and 7mths ago I was looking for a top notch painter to do my 72 Comet GT. A friend recommended to me a painter who's work is put on display at Summit Racing from time to time on one of their auto carousels. His price was a very high, but his quality was unmatched as far as his vs others I had seen.
I finally grew too impatient to allow it to go any further and demanded my car be returned. It arrived yesterday, and to me its in worse condition now than it was when he picked it up.
This man is well known in the Falcon and Mustang communities so I wanted to give you all a heads up, whether you may want to use him in the future or not, and I plea with those on forums for those vehicles to make mention.
His name is Mike Dove and his work is performed in Covington Ga.

Be leary is all I will add to this and know, its hard to find a good painter, even when they come highly recommended and you've seen what they are capable of doing.

Help me to spread the word on this one at least.

That's discouraging, Brian... Sorry to hear it ended like that. At least you got the car back. Hopefully someone will step-up to the plate and help you finish the bodywork and paint. After all, cars are meant to be driven.

    Paint Jail SUCKS! :(

I been had by painters myself. And I won't even buy a vehicle if I'm not 100% happy with the paint anymore. If it needs paint im out. Or I live with it. Never again.
