The government is at i again. they want to pass a new law that will making pretty much any modification to our cars illegal, anything from nitriuos, to spoilers, mag wheels, anything that is deamed not factory, will be deamed illegal, there is a peition to sign to stop it we hope, They hope this will stop street racers, but how about all of us who have put a ton of moeny and sweat into our cars just so they look good and are cool at shows please read and sign it thanks http://www.petitiononline.com/sect1722/petition.html
Hey catman88 I live in Vaughan and my Maverick is almost ready for the street; It will have all the PERFORMANCE PARTS that the cops will be looking for (cage, tubs,NOS,ladder bar, tach,5 point belt etc) Guess if the law passes I will be in Jail for 6 months with a $1000.00 fine. Dont only sign the petition, email Erin Eves, Norm Sterling in Ottawa, and your local MPP. I send them each a email once a week to remind the we live in Canada, not a Communist country... PS I might have that project car you are looking for. Its a 1972 2 door body in good shape little surface rust, good base for drag car. Wilkl have extra parts when mine is done which should be in the next 2-3 months. To cold to work in garage -30 no thanks. let me know
