Which set do you guys use for a factory manifold? I have stock manifolds that I intend to use for a current project and went to home depot to get bolts and the selection of standard hardware was non existant. I was thinking any mustang exhaust manifold bolt set should work, but the exhaust manifold has 3 different bolt lengths and from what I see online it only comes with two lengths? I may be wrong on that. Thanks
Try NAPA. They have hardware in the back (at least here). I just give them the size I'm looking for and they go get it. It should only be 2 different lengths
The flanges are .5 inch 1.25 inches and 1.5 inches so between the two longer ones I can use the same bolts? I know it's only a 1/4" difference but I just want to make sure I'll have enough bite into the head
Sounds good. I may try to go to like a fastenal during week. In need of 16 bolts total, digging through Lowe's and home depot they both had like 2 of each size. Lol. So should do 8 1.25 bolts and 8 2 inch bolts with washers and it should be plenty
Melvin's has the exhaust bolts http://www.parts123.com/parts123/yb...~S4UB1991ZH10870122632a~Z5Z5Z5~Z5Z5Z50001018o

I ended up goin to tractor supply. Cost me 6 dollars for about 30 bolts and washers so I can experiment what has the most thread engagement without bottoming out. All grade 5 hardware. Can't see needing anything stronger than that
