Which set do you guys use for a factory manifold? I have stock manifolds that I intend to use for a current project and went to home depot to get bolts and the selection of standard hardware was non existant. I was thinking any mustang exhaust manifold bolt set should work, but the exhaust manifold has 3 different bolt lengths and from what I see online it only comes with two lengths? I may be wrong on that.

    Thanks

Try NAPA. They have hardware in the back (at least here). I just give them the size I'm looking for and they go get it.

It should only be 2 different lengths

The flanges are .5 inch 1.25 inches and 1.5 inches so between the two longer ones I can use the same bolts? I know it's only a 1/4" difference but I just want to make sure I'll have enough bite into the head

head holes have over an inch of thread. You should be able to go with 2" and be good.

Sounds good. I may try to go to like a fastenal during week. In need of 16 bolts total, digging through Lowe's and home depot they both had like 2 of each size. Lol. So should do 8 1.25 bolts and 8 2 inch bolts with washers and it should be plenty

Go to Tractor Supply, can buy bolts by pound... They stock std grade, plus grades 5 & 8...

I used a AMK set from NPD for a 70 Mustang 351C 4V. They worked fine on my Comet.

I ended up goin to tractor supply. Cost me 6 dollars for about 30 bolts and washers so I can experiment what has the most thread engagement without bottoming out. All grade 5 hardware. Can't see needing anything stronger than that
