so what i mean is, when you tell someone during an old car conversation that you have a maverick, do you get the "dissapointed/confused/giggle" reaction from the other person? then later when they actually see your car, they freak out and fall in love with it? i get this very often until they finally see it. after seeing the car ive had people say its sexy, cool, very rare, etc.....a guy today at the parts store told me that id forever have the coolest car out of anything else no matter what was still out there. he absolutely was drooling lol. any stories?
I have pictures on my phone to help with discussions. I chose cars similar to what I plan on having once the car is done and one of it as it sits.
I have heard everything from "My grandma had one" to "You cant make a maverick fast!!" Took that guy for the ride of his life in the Sprint. Changed his mind too...LOL... You have to have thick skin if your gonna be a member of the red headed step child group...I mostly just smile at em and nod...Look down your nose long enough and soon all you see is snot... I have had far more positive comments, thumbs up etc...than bad though.
