    Hey everone!

This is Jeff again, just wanting to finally show some of the pictures of my Maverick since I finally got the hang of the message board. There are some rust issues but they are not that huge of a concern yet. There is a 200ci inline six rotting away in the engine bay right now. My friend Jamie is giving me another 200ci to drop in which was recently rebuilt. Oh by the way, will a 250ci camshaft fit into a 200ci block? I will keep you all updated with photos of my progress. Enjoy these while you read my thread!

    Thanks,

    Jeff

Little rust on the front of the hood, but other then that it looks like you found you a decent car to work with. (y)

Front bumper looks like it will clean up nicely.

edit: after looking closely I wonder if your car is a 69.5 with the key in the dash?

I may be wrong here but I was thinking the 250 engine was physically bigger than the 200. I know the block is taller but I was thinking it was longer too which would mean the cam would have to be longer. But like I said, I may be wrong...I'm just a V8 kinda guy. :D

The 250 is taller and wider than the 144 , 170 and 200 engins . It shares the pistons , carb ( some years) , cam , distributor , liftors , rockers , valve cover , valve springs , exhaust manifold , head , and the oil pan drain plug :bananaman with the 200 . The 200 and 170 are purdy much the same engin aside from the pistons , rods , and crank . The 4 main 170 and 144 ARE the same engin but the 170 has a bigger crank .
