I am getting ready to install the chrome trim back on my 74 after the repaint and R/R the glass.
I am confused on the clips to use. All the old clips were yellow.
In the auto Krafters book it says to use a mix of brown and blue for 73-77?
Should I reuse my old yellows, buy all new yellows or go with brown and blue as the catalog says?

I think I have heard that from others too, that the yellow is best. This diagram in the autokrafters catalog says to use the brown on two locations in each window, not sure why that would be. IMG-4073.JPG

Thanks, Most of them came out ok, I ran them through a parts washer and they are in pretty nice shape, no rust. I think I will do as you suggested and just put them back in, they seemed to hold fine before. There are a few that got bent up removing so I may have to use some of the blue aftermarket ones in a couple of places.

If they are just bent and not rotten from rust, you can bend them back again into useable shape. Nothing works as well as the old original clips.

I am also an all yellow guy on my cars.
