    ¡Buenas Dias!
I have further questions for my Potential Maverick hot rod, originally found rite hyuh:

    http://mmb.maverick.to/threads/new-maverick-inquiries-and-suggestions.117288/

Question 1. How would the parts off my 2006 mustang fit to the Maverick frame. Parts being engine/tranny/rear end/wheels/suspension/seats/AC(the Maverick is a stock AC)/cruise control/ECU... pretty much anything and everything because the mustang does not have any real issues just getting bored with it. Car audio also in question because I have upgraded the Mustangs stock system completely. The Mustang has the 4.0? V6 and the Maverick the 3.5? I6. I think the idea of a Maverick with modern age drivetrain sounds radical, especially since the drivetrain would already have the stock upgrades such as intake/exhaust with plugs w/not very high mileage.

I know this would be a task but am curious as to what could bolt straight in.

    Good looks for any assistance,
    Jackpot.

Zero.. Computerized vehicles have made backyarding very difficult. If you don't know electronics as how it applies to automotive applications, don't even consider it. Last bolt in was the Explorer 5.0 and that required numerous changes to engine configuration.

Usually not to difficult to adapt seats but that's about it.

I see what you are trying to explain. But would it not be the same if you bolted in all the parts and ECU in ~the same place? If all the sensors all still hooked up and protected I just cannot see how such would not work.

How are you going to account for the PATs system? Pickup for transceiver is in the steering column, PCM isn't going to allow engine to start without that signal. Yeah you can swap the column but major mods are required toi mount it, What about air bag? And it's sensors? Everything in that '06 is computer controlled, from speedometer to the lighting, A/C, throttle drive by wire, etc, etc. All these systems are intertwined. Read up on CAN bus systems. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAN_bus

There are no motor mounts to readily fit engine, does the exhaust manifolds, oil pan, etc even begin to clear the chassis? Will Stang radiator fit the Maverick? None of the exhaust system is going to fit and there would be major mods just to fit the rear end assembly.

You could bolt the stereo in but would have to upgrade the alternator

Long story short, --- If your not a MASTER BUILDER/FABRICATOR or have unlimited finances; forget about all you've outlined except the stero system.

I have the Money to buy this Maverick now and the Mustang is obviously in my driveway. I am from Chesapeake and my mother still lives there so if we could meet up, or anyone else from the 757, that would be awesome because I am really trying to join the family you guys have.

Anyhow, I am thinking motor mounts could be made by fabricating the mounts from the Mustang/Maverick together, if need be. I have a grandfather experienced in said metal fabrication but just getting an idea of the level of work this would require.
