    I Confirmed your measurement. Not a 302.

Krazy Comet probally correct. Either a 351M, 351C, 400 or 429/460. Think those interchange.

Now that you mentioned that, I think I got that a 100 years ago with a Boss 351 out of a 71 Mustang.
I was digging through my distributors recently and was thinking it was a 302 until I looked at it closer the other day.

Steel gear would be good if you ever go roller...that's what they say anyway.

Would have been nicer to received what i ordered! Got spares already.

For those that don't know, incompatible distributor and cam gear will destroy each other.

    Yep.

Some years back I bought a dead '88 T-Bird with fresh 5.0, Windsor Jr heads etc.Found destroyed iron gear on dist in a roller(always steel) cammed engine. I wound up parting car and sold engine to a guy for a Ranger swap.

I've got a new rebuilt points distributor for a SB if you need it. That dual point cleveland distributor would go great in my 70 351C 4v. :) - Matt

:thumbs2:Thanks everyone. I'll just swap gears on distributor being i have spares. Just another task to add.
And to be honest getting old is really slowing me down. Been going in garage just to watch tv, drink beer and eat peanuts.
Five years ago i would have been crusing by now.

And whats up with Tractor Supply today? They did not have any peanuts today!
