Hi guys, been a while since I have been on the board. I hope you remember us. My nephew and I built his 74 Mav about a year ago. Well he graduated HS tonight and will be driving the Mav to LA on Sunday. He plans on attending Loyola University out California way. Anyway, the back up I am asking for is if there are any members that live along the way that would be willing to help him out if the car messes up along the way. The plans are to leave Ft. Worth Sunday around 2:00 Central time. He will take I-20 west until it merges with I-10. Then he will take I-10 to LA. I think he plans to stay at a hotel on Sunday night in El Paso. Anyone here live along that route?

Here's a pic of him and the car if you need a reminder.

Hey Duane I didn't know you were on here. This is Greg, I used to race the brown '79 Malibu and Garden Acres back in the day. Yes the car has been on the stang board. If it breaks I do hope it does it close by.

Hey what's up? That was a nice job on that car, got room for my old Grabber? Yep, the same old red one I've had for 23 years now, needs restoring...I've been Bracket racing again, every Saturday. Come out sometime.

    here's a hand

Well, I'm about 65 miles south of I10 and Tucson, but have had a buddy go a lot farther than that to help me out. Wouldn't mind paying back. I'll email you a cell number. Have a '70 F100 that would look good filled up with parts I need off that car.....errr.... I mean towing that car. And that same buddy is in Phoenix so any problem in the general AZ area we could probably assist. But I grew up in Cal so anyone going there now we'll have to approach with caution. Especially to LALaLand.
