it could be that the arm connecting to the tranny isnt adjusted correctly.....when i picked up my car from the tranny shop...i made sure all gears were shifting correctly...they were not....so i told them to adjust the cable for the shifter...they adjusted the screw end and it went into all the gears just fine....

just worth looking at rather than drop the tranny....but i would also suggest take the whole car to the shop ...easier to diagnose a running tranny .....in a car...

    good luck

    SUCESSSSSS!!!

pulled trans last night so I could get an early start on troubleshooting today. We pulled her apart and after scratching our heads for a while found that one of the sealing rings was the wrong diameter....

It fit on the shaft fine but was too small in diameter to make a good seal. the kit came with a few different seals in it. I guess my guy thought they were all the same.....

well I have all gears working now and the car is back on the road.

couldnt have figured this one out without your help guys, thanks:clap:

I'm going to go and take some photos of the mav near the lake this week. I'll post them for sure.
