Anyone going to the shows in Charlotte or Columbus the first weekend in April?
I still do not understand why 2 major shows are on the same weekend that close together.

I'm going to the Lowes Motor Speedway ( FoodLion Auto Fair) in Charlotte. I've been going for the past 20 years. I wouldn't miss it. Over the past I have found parts I needed at a fair price. :D Do you intend to go? If so let me know what day and maybe we can hook-up.:) E-Mail me if you would like to try.

Bill, What part of NC are you from? If I get mine up in time there are several of us going to set up a coastal run from Savanna Ga. to Myrtle Beach SC. later in the year. At last count there would be 10 (Mavericks/Comets) crusing the coast on a 3 day weekend run.:D

I'm in Mooresville. I just sold my Sprint, so I probably wouldn't make the myrtle beach trip, unless I can get my brother in law to sell me his 73.

Last year I tried to get some people together for a mini meet, but only one other Mav showed up besides me.

That's great that you've been able to get some people together. I guess I should have tried on this board.

    Bill.

    Dennis...

... I would like to have mine ready for Carlyle but I am still in a time pinch for that deadline. This slow economy has put this on the back burner. I have to rebuild the front end, put the cylinder heads on the built short block and drop that in along with putting on the stripes and putting the interior back together.
I just don't know if I will be done in time.
