 O.K. haven't checked board in a few, and man have you guys been busy. It's about time to get some rims and tires for the comet. it'sa 250 i-6 w/5 lug rims. drums all around. stock 14's. I plan on keeping the stock rim & caps, but I think some 15" cragar ss rims might look good. my question, bolt pattern, compatibility...standard stuff? You guys are going to be my research department. plus-any for sale-cheap. thanx for the help...craig,will plan on joining soon. thx:p

    The bolt pattern is 5x4.5

There are a lot better-looking wheels than the Cragar SS though...I suggest you shop around...

about the most backspacing you can handle is 3 3/4" If your not going too big on tires a 7" rim would fit with no problems.

    Word of advice...

...don't take everything TL says to heart, we are working on him.
I think that Cragar SS wheels are one of the most classic wheels that you can run. He is right that there are others to choose from.
But it depends on the look you want. I personally like the SS wheels, and for around $100 each they are quite affordable.

    Happy hunting...

Another wheel to consider is the American Racing Torq Thrust D. These are very good looking wheels, and period correct, too. See pic.
