Well, in looking at his description it says:

YOU ARE BIDDING ON A COMPLETE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY FOR A 1970 FORD MAVERICK WITH 2 SETS OF KEYS.

Sounds like it should have the wheel that was in the picture on it to me! I say he owes you the wheel in the photo.

Well PayPal stuck to their guns and paid me back today.......The seller never answered the complaint. Guilty as charged your honor!! guess im still out the wheel though. My next step is to take my wheel to a leather shop and see if they can repair it. The guy i know that said he would try to make one a few months back chickened out and is afraid to damage my wheel so that fell through too.

Glad it worked out for you. (y) I had a problem also, and PayPal came through for me as well. The most important thing is to report it withing the 30 day period, or you will lose your rights to contest it. I gave the guy the benefit of the doubt up to the last day, and then I got PayPal involved. It was the best thing I did. For me I would have rather had the deal go through, but I couldn't take the chance and been out the money.

paypal doesn't always come through, my bro was screwed when he bought supposedly "oem" black interior kick panels for a fox stang, only for them to arrive painted. Problem was, the seller had huge feedback, and even though the auction said "not painted, oem black", paypal awarded the settlement to the seller, and not to my brother because of all the feeback the seller had.

In this case, I congradulate you on getting your money back. I am a seller too, and Know what it's like out there. I would have handled it slightly different, as I ALWAYS give the benefit of a doubt, and would have shot off an email first explaining the situation to the seller, however, this case seems pretty cut and dry.

Neg feedback isn't always accurate. I've intentionally NOT left negative feedback in at least two cases. It really sucks, but I don't want some a-hole buyer retaliating and ruining my perfect record in revenge for leaving him neg feedback, so I just never left any.

I feel exactly the same way......but I am about ready to leave negative feedback on the deal where I got screwed. Think if I wait till the 89th day...I can leave feedback and not give the seller enough time to respond??

Lol, I thought about that!! see if you can coordinate that down to the last minute, I bet it would work! If you do, let me know, as I'll be doing the same should the need arise.
