there are kits out there(chassis engineering, moroso?,competition engineering), or you can make them yourself, nothing to it...personally I wouldnt put 600hp to a unibody if you care about it without some strengthening

Man when I seen the thread "Need to stiffen things up" I wasn't sure what it was going to be about.

    Cobra,

Not to start an argument, but unless you're shooting nitrous to your engine, don't be surprised if you don't get 600 n/a h.p. on the dyno.

It'll be the best kept secret if you can truly achieve it though! :D

    Good Luck,

    Rick

I was skeptical at first until I saw the dyno sheet. I am taking MVR at college to become a Auto Tech at Ford and my class mate told me about it. His uncle build the engine, so I was like sure there is no way until I saw it in his torino and saw the sheet!!!! now it's our secret weapon. but until I biuld it I am still skeptical but if it works I will tell every Ford nut I know that means You guys!!!!!!!!!

I am with Rick on this one.

However, I am extremely interested to see what you turn out. Please post your progress, and how much spent. However, be careful on being too optimistic , I would hate to see a fellow mavericker heartbroken. Ford is producing the new cobras pushing out 390 horse with an engine only slightly smaller than a 302. To do this, they have slapped on a supercharger onto the already hopped up 4 cammer ohv motor with upgraded internals.

600 horse can be had, but to attain it naturally asperated is going to cost $$$$$$$

BTW, as far as your subframes go, I used the search button......

not sure if he has any left still, good luck.

If Dan Starnes does not have any more, try and get in touch with Craig S. He can get you in contact with Rudy B. who is making sub connectors. They are not as good as Dans's, but they do work.
