I have my 2door Mav under a car cover in a fenced in lot just outside my shop. A mechanic down the street saw the bottom of the Mav pokin' out at the bottom of the car cover and called the phone number on the company sign. Of course he inquired about the car and asked what kinda shape it was in and if I was willing to sell it. I was totally caught off guard and told him they were my favorite cars and finding one in that kind of shape was not easy any more, so no thanks, but we chatted a few minutes and I mentioned I had a 4 door too and if I sold one he would have to buy both. Then he asked me to give him a number and he might be interested. So stupid me shot off a number that I though was pretty high just for fun, and he kinda sounded interested. I really was not intending on selling either so I wish I had just kept my mouth shut. Turns out he just really wanted the 2 door and decided to keep looking. Close call.
you just wait, when these cars have Barret-Jackson prices(yeah right) then you can sell em', don't be to hasty, shewwww close call for sure.
For sure. I had somebody stop me in my VW Rabbit Convertible today and ask me how much I would sell it to him for, I politely said sorry I plan on keeping in for a while.
I think it would be cool just to see a Maverick just qualify as a B-J auction car, but just like anything, the Maverick may have its "price" too.
i would be willing to bet, there are a few of you that have nice neough cars to go quite well in B-J auctions.... dont sell yoursleves short...you know who you are... call them up and ask....never know...you might start a trend with these cars and up the value on them over night
