    It took me a while, but i finally borrowed a digital camera and took some pics. It really needs body work and paint.

    thanks for the comments, i'll keep posting the progress. couldnt do much work this weekend bacuase of the rain. :mad: oh well. hopefully i'll be able to get to the dragstrip this year.

    no, i filled in the edges with an angle-iron frame. i'll put some more detailed pics soon. ....let me know what you guys think. if its not enough i'll add more metal. i did this before i looked at what other people did. maybe i should have read up on this a little more.

    here's one of the pics i took. its a little hard to see but i have an angle-iron frame around the opening. i tried to enhance the picture so the frame can be seen.
