Well, I never thought it would take me this long to restore my 71 Grabber...but the bodywork/paint is almost done...and the motor is finally ready (photo attached). I've acquired most of the parts I need...and spent way more than I ever thought I would in the process.

I'm hoping to have the whole thing together by March...at the latest...which will be two years since I brought my car home.

The motor was tired and painted Chevy orange when I got the car...I've got a good "before" pic of the engine...somewhere.

yup...those are coated 6901's. The shop that did the motor does all (99.9%) Ford's...so when I'd call to check on it and they weren't sure who I was...I just told them that I was the guy that brought in the orange motor...lol.

Thanks for the nice comments...it's encouraging to finally have a second major part of the car DONE...the first milestone was completing the interior.

Thanks. It's got some high performance parts on/in it. I'll list all of the specs when I get a chance. It hasn't been on a dyno, but I got to hear it with open headers during the run-in/cam break-in that the guy who built it did...and it sounds really good. I can't wait to get it in the car!

Hey Fixmer, what's the name of the shop in Trinidad? They specialize in rebuilding Ford engines, right?
