Has anyone used 67-73 Mustang rear speaker grilles? Alot of speakers have big bulky grilles and I don't like them. I have a set of Pioneer 6x9's sans the grilles. Thought about trying a set of Mustang grilles, just was looking for some feedback.

My new Pioneer speakers came with the ugliest grills I have ever seen. What is up with that!!! What happened to nice, conservative speaker grills?? I quess I am getting old.

I have seen some basic universal grilles at Radio Shack.
I have not bought any as I have not put my tuner in
    the console yet.

Forget the grills altogether and just cut a new rear deck cover out of some hardboard, mount the speakers below the deck and cover it in matching grill cloth material. Clean, simple, and no sign of any speakers. Best of all no degredation of sound.(y)

Ditto! dump the grills! I like your thinking BIGbully! "Clean, simple, and no sign of any speakers." AMEN! also interior shops can perferate the material so the sound can get though as well.
