There is an indoor car show this weekend at the North Atlanta Trade Center in Gwinnett County. I brought the Grabber to the show today. It is a two day show but was only gonna spend today there. But one of the judges thought the Grabber was awesome and was raving about it! Best of show is $500 and then $150, $100 and $50 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd so I'll be going back tomorrow ... who knows ... might make a couple of bucks. It was below freezing this morning in Georgia ... and the car ran so bad it was embarrasing. So tonight I got around to hooking up 12V to the Choke Mechanism and doing some adjusting. Hopefully it will run better tomorrow morning .. supposed to be a cold one again ... Here are some pictures ... notice the actual Hot Wheels car .... Pretty sure the car came before the toy ... http://www.dixiemaverick.com/Horsepower/Horsepower.html
Very nice pictures of some very nice rides. .......better start letting that boy spend some more time in the garage turning some wrenches, though. http://www.dixiemaverick.com/Horsepower/Horsepower-Pages/Image35.html Thanks for the virtual tour. Very nice.
"Hey Dad? There's a guys who's selling the world's best cook-ware ever made at an unbelievabley, low-low introductory price of a $999.95. I dunno why, but I want it........... really baaad!" cute kiddo.
Dan, I was in Suwanee thursday and friday at the DOOSAN/DAEWOO distribution center for a parts managers school. I came back home friday night. Iwish I had known about the show I would have stayed over another day and went to it.
thanks for sharing pic! hope you win something! show them high dollar cars what is really about i doubt half of those cars in there people didn't build themselfs. but i like that gremlin! thats something you don't see anymore! let us know what happens!
That pinto wagon looks sweet!!!! Dan your car deserves the attention it gets. I like the exhaust tips
So true! My car runs like crap until it warms up when it's cold to. I really need to rig up some kind of choke. Ronald, you make 2 guys now from here that have been in Suwanee that I haven't met.
please tell us it was a girl selling the pans, and he was there watching her . thanks for the pictures.i wonder if any of those cars will be at the autorama,in houston next week.
Cool pics. I cant believe how few people were there. Was it before the doors opened for general admission? Every indoor show I've ever been to is next to impossible to get decent pics because of the crowds. Got any more of the 57 behind the purple Cuda with the normal hood?
The turnout to the show wasn't impressive .... I don't think it was advertised well ... plus it's like $8 per person to get in .......
so what about that Daytona coupe? Was it a Factory Five car? Looks pretty good. Thanks for sharing the pics with us.
Great pics Dan...that friggin 3-wheeler car is unbelievable. I can't imagine driving down the street in that thing...gotta be a little on the scary side. That's the same type of car the nerd was driving in American Graffiti...just a little faster.
very nice pic, Your Maverick is clean. I like the black in the tail like area. That's a cool looking AMX too.
