My 1970 Maverick has a water leak that seeps in from both kick panel areas under the dash. I was told it is more than likely a rot spot inside the cowl opening....has anyone heard of a cover that goes over the cowl for a temporary fix until a more permanent repair can be made?? Thanks bograt62

Nothing made specifically for a Maverick. They are made for early Mustangs (page 131 in the Mustang Catalog www.npdlink.com)

This is only a bandaid for a permanent problem.

Covering the cowl vent will not completely eliminate the leak. It could also be the windshield gasket.
