I bought a new Hurst Indy shifter - automatic but looks like regular stick with just a boot. I love this look and want to use it on my 69.5. My only problem is, the shifter came with linkage instead of cables. Did the 69.5 have an option for floor shift and will there be a "knock-out" ?? Or, do I have to trial and error measure this thing in ?? Instructions are very vague !
    Thanks, Darrel

My 69.5 did not have any knock outs. had to cut a hole in the tunnel. Chad

yep you gotta measure, measure again and measure one more time then cut your hole, those instructions leave alot to be desired...good luck.
