I decided to get rid of the 195/60r15, and went to the used tire shop and got some 215/60r15. They were almost worn to the wear-bars, so I got a good deal after a little "jewing down" (no offense meant, and I can say this, since I am half-jewish by descent :D ). I just wanted to try some wider tires to fill up the fender well and to give me a little higher and aggressive stance (to clear my headers and cut-outs on speed bumps and driveways).

Before picture is the 195s, and the others are the "new" 215s. Notice the clearance on the 215s. There is less than 1/2" clearance between the front corner of the tire and the bottom lip of the fender. If these tires were new, with full tread, they might not clear on turns.

Just thought others would like to know what the maximum tire sizes for the front might be. These are just about there.

Please feedback about the stance and look of the car. I am juggling between a little height for clearance of headers and cutouts, but also want the front fairly low compared to the rear. I will buy new tires soon, most likely 255 rear (to replace the 245s that are currently on there) and either the 215/60s like I have here, or maybe a little wider with less profile, maybe 225/55 or so.

Any suggestions and PICTURES would be appreciated.

Rear is currently 245/60r15. Will buy 255/60r15 when I get new ones. That is about the max I can fit in there without rubbing issues.

Looks good to me. If it were me, I'd set pic #2 as my avatar. :)

I am currently in FrontPage to add it as my "Current" picture on my website. Good idea on the avatar. Will do (y)

Edit--Jamie...got it! Thanks for the suggestion.

I read Car Craft and they give hints on how to take a good car picture. I tried to follow as many of their guidlines as possible. Too bad I don't have a pretty car to begin with

Just reroll the lip on the front valance to add cleareance not even the experts would catch it. Some nice hammer and dolly work, as long as the rear clears.
