Building a dirt car trying to figure out some front suspension delemas, would like to get a 5x5 5/8 stud front rotor on a maverick, the front hubs of a 75 ltd are 5x5 but use different bearing, and the spindle uses different balljoints. I know granada hubs bolt right on, but i dont have any and was wondering if they could be redrilled to 5x5. If you wondering the 9 inch rearend i am planning to use is a floater and has 5x5 bolt pattern and used 5x5 wheels are cheap and easy to find.
If anyone wants to know. I found a 5x5 granada hub and rotor. The rotor is .810 thick but just might be what im looking for. Thanks to anyone who tried to figure this one out.
I didn't know Granadas ever came in 5x5. I just caught this thread and was thinking maybe a Mark hub would work. Glad you found something.
Its a racing rotor (looks factory cast) that racers mount on pinto spindles used on dirt modifieds. I got a set for my camaro last year from speedway motors in nebraska (camaros are 5x4 3/4 stock) but they show no listing for ford. I assume somebody is buying undrilled rotors and drilling them, The ones i got for my camaro only have one set of holes. I found a company in arizona that sells them for a ford. Most of the modifieds around here with pinto spindles run the granada stock rotor and run an aluminum spacer/adapter to use 5x5 wheels.
