is power brakes on a 72 maverick grabber a rare option because it took 3 days for the local napa to find one. they finally found one off a 77 comet. just wondered how rare it really was

It would be extremely rare since it was never offered form the factory until 75.

I'm just curious if it was a factory set up swapped in there or some other set up. Is the master cylinder and booster angled toward the engine with the brace forming a circle around it? Or is it mounted straight?

mavaholic hit it on the head (of course) once you get one that works id make a note of which one it is for. chances are if you know what year to ask for it will be a lot easier to get the parts next time. does it have front disc now?
