white wire Works great for a retard....for boost. Or just a high speed retard. Lots of uses fer it! I used it for a boost retard on my old '74 Turbo Maverick. Retarded 10 deg I think..and I had it hooked to a hobbs pressure switch in the intake that retarded it when pressure got to 8 psi. Worked great.
Maybe you could use it on a street/strip car... Put it on a switch. Retard the timing when running on the street with low octane fuel. Switch it off when you put race gas in and run at the strip. Or At what RPM would you recommend using it as a high speed retard? Run an RPM activated relay to turn it on at a preset rpm... I don't know how that would work, dumping 10 degrees all at once. Just a thought. Dave
