I apologize for not giving you all info on accomodations earlier for the 2nd Annual Pennsylvania MAverick/Comet Meet. There were things beyond control. The accomodations are at the Comfort Inn, Rt. 422, New Castle. Rates are $65/night. To receive the special rate, use confirmation number #152565, Maverick/Comet Club International. Obviously, you do not need to be a MCCI member to obtain this rate. The phone number is 724-658-7700. If you are coming, US Route 422 is directly off Interstate 79 in Butler County. Getting off on 422, turn West toward New Castle. You will pass through a red light intersection that has a Sheetz convienience store, proceed straight. Stay to the left at the exit to continue on Rt. 422, sign says New Castle. The hotel will be less than a mile further on the left just past the Giant Eagle supermarket. The meet locations will both Saturday and Sunday right off Rt. 422 and will be easy to get to. Saturday, proceed back East along 422 past Lake Arthur toward Butler until you get to the Prospect exit. Exit Rt. 422 at this exit and turn right at the end of the ramp (Rt. 528). Proceed through the flashing light intersection at the IGA Supermarket. Proceed srtaight until you get to the Homestead Restaurant which will be on the right. this is the location for the first day, "Cruisin' for the Cause". Sunday, from the hotel, proceed again toward Butler along Rt. 422 until you come to the South Shore exit. Exit rt. 422 here and turn left at the end of the ramp. Continue straight through Moraine State Park until you reach the swimming area, site of the regatta Car Cruise, the same event we attended last year.
