send them an email with a couple of our cars pictured and remind them that overpaid athletic events have nothing to do with quality vehicles:rant2:.

I watched the second video. It is about a half hour long. They bought the car out of a field in Leland, FL for $300. The body shop that painted it said it was very rusty. You could tell when they were hitting the car because all the dirt and rust was falling off the car.

It was kind of amazing to see how strong the roof posts were. The front fenders caved like paper.

I'll watch the video later, but if it was a rusted out junk car to begin with then I don't really care as much. I thought they tore up a perfectly good/driveable one.

Craigs Mav, if you do send them a piece of your mind, please make it look like your at least somewhat intelligent.

You are going about this completely WRONG! :tsk:

First off, all radio station geeks (ie: employees particularly DJ's) totally get off on almost anybody that pays attention to them - even if you are being negative about what they are doing. That is what makes a shock jock the worst person in the world to try and deal with.

The one person that they never want to hear from is their sponsors, the ones that put the money in their pockets. If you can PO one sponsor enough to complain to the station management - it is like having a bomb drop at a station.

I suggest that you try and find out who buys airtime ads at that station. A Ford dealer would be the best, followed by any parts stores (Napa, Autozone, ect). Car repair shops, drive in-car hop burger joints, gas stations, car washes, ect. Any advertiser that depends on you, the Maverick owner to patronize their business and give them money. You need to make it clear to them that because of the antics of this radio station and by the fact that they (the advertiser) buys ads that pays for this crap entertainment, that you will no longer spend your money with them again. Be polite, be firm, and make them realize that THEY (the advertiser) are the ones you are not pleased with for supporting this station.

Trust me - you will do more damage with one PO'd advertiser then with all the board members writing the station.

      :bananaman :yup:
